- We are looking for a Learning and Development (Lamp;D) Specialist to join our People Operations team, to help our employees advance their skills and knowledge.
- In this new role, you'll be responsible for devising our organizational technical training strategy, oversee its implementation and assess its outcomes.
- You will work across many departments and locations to get employees up to speed in both their specific vertical, and the overall needs of the company.
- Ultimately, you will help our company succeed by training and developing its people.
How you will make an impact
- Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with line managers.
- Draw an overall or individualized training and development plan that addresses needs and expectations.
- Implement various learning methods companywide (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training)
- Design, develop and deliver technical training courses for all levels, e-learning courses, workshops and other trainings
- Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them.
- Measure improvements in employees’ job performance at the end of each course.
- Resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary
- Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities
- Conduct effective induction and ensure all new hires undergo basic technical training
- Help managers develop their team members through career pathing
- Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices
What you need to succeed
- Proven work experience as a Training Coordinator, Lamp;D Specialist or similar role
- Track record in designing and executing successful training programs in IT companies
- Experience in developing technical course content both for novices and experts with technology
- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively
- Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals
- Good computer and Google suite knowledge
- BS degree in education, human resources or relevant field
- Advanced English skills
